The fragile graceful sitting object Kluwen, made of rings from ash wood and smoked oak, surprises us through its stability and comfortability. The particular aesthetic of wood is unmistakably put into scene. The individual structure of the rings creates an expressive object for sitting in the simple basic shape of a ball. The interior and exterior of the ball are set off strikingly through the fine contrast in color of the lighter ash wood and the darker smoked oak.
